Update 4
Things are coming along smoothly as possible. A lot has been done over the new years holiday/ January time frame!
- Seat Belt mounts & seat mounts have been installed check out my section on that for full details.
- Rear suspension/ is installed and ready to rock check out my section on that for full details.
- Transmission has been converted to 2WD check out my section on that for full details.
- I found the directions to be a bit vague on what all shims needed to be removed. I have included images below. My transmission which is out of a 98 Forester had one extra shim, this may or may not be standard on newer transmission, but just an observation for those who are wondering.
- Pedals/ and master cylinders are installed. Still trying to decide on accelerator pedal install location. Some have said the factory location will cause your throttle to only open about 80%.
- New 2006-2016 Ej25 oil pan installed with Killer B oil baffle and pickup. See engine section for more info on removal of the oil pan.
